Our Onboarding Process

Simple Steps to Trusted Support

We follow a clear and structured process to ensure every client receives the right level of support from day one. From the initial consultation to ongoing assistance, each step is designed to make your labour law journey straightforward, efficient, and tailored to your unique business needs.

Get in Touch

Reach out via phone, email, or our online contact form. We’ll respond promptly to discuss your needs and set up an initial consultation.

Initial Consultation

This first consultation, whether in person, by phone or through an online meeting, is focused on understanding your business, your workforce and any labour-related challenges you may be facing. It is an opportunity to ask questions, receive immediate guidance and start defining the level of support that is right for you.

Assessment & Risk Review

We assess and review your existing HR and labour law compliance, identify gaps, and evaluate risk areas. This includes a review of policies, procedures, contracts, and practices to gain a complete picture of your legal landscape.

Proposal & Fee Mandate

Based on the consultation and assessment, we prepare a tailored proposal and fee arrangement outlining the services that best suit your business. This may include once-off solutions or a retainer plan, depending on your needs and structure.

i

Documentation & Setup

Once approved, we prepare and implement the necessary documentation—such as contracts, policies, and compliance materials—and set up communication channels to ensure smooth service delivery going forward.

Ongoing Support & Reporting

You’ll have access to continued support for all your labour law needs, whether advisory, document-related, or dispute resolution. Regular check-ins and reporting keep you informed and in control of your compliance journey.

Compliance Monitoring & Reporting

Regular reviews to ensure you remain compliant with evolving labour laws and regulatory requirements.

— Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to your Labour Law Queries

Who do you provide services to?

We assist employers, employees, and legal professionals. Our clients include small to medium businesses, HR departments, and law firms in need of specialist labour law support.

Do you only offer services in Gauteng?

While we’re based in Kempton Park, we serve clients across the greater Johannesburg, Pretoria, and Gauteng region. Remote services are available nationally where suitable.

What’s the difference between ad-hoc and retainer services?

Ad-hoc services are billed per matter, ideal for occasional legal support. Retainers provide ongoing legal access at a fixed monthly fee, better suited for businesses with regular HR or labour matters.

What kind of employment contracts can you draft?

We create customised employment agreements that align with South African labour laws, including permanent, fixed-term, part-time, and independent contractor contracts.

Can you represent us at the CCMA or Bargaining Council?

Yes, we represent both employers and employees at dispute resolution forums, including the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration (CCMA), Bargaining Councils, and we provide Labour Court assistance.

Do you offer white-label services to law firms?

Yes. We provide white-label legal support, allowing law firms to offer expert labour law services to their clients under their own brand.

Do you offer Human Resources services?

We partner with a trusted HR consultant to offer services such as recruitment support, performance management, assistance with Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF) matters and workplace compliance.

How do I get started as a new client?

Our onboarding process begins with a consultation to assess your needs. From there, we provide a tailored proposal, assist with setup, and offer continued legal support.
